Born in 1984. Illustrator, Painter, traditional animator. She graduated in 2006 with a class honours degree in Illustration and Multimedial Animation from IED (European Institute of Design) in Rome. Her work is various and versatile: drawing, painting, collage, analog manipulation/reworked photography, printmaking, monotipes, etching, scanography. The art process follow her inner side, coincidences and fate, often the mistake can be the opportunity to create something genius and new inventing new tecniques. Mixed media is her dimension: whatever is available to create is important in the process to free herself in an instinctive and meditative way. She continues developing her own techniques during her artistic research, this constant reaserch allows her to express what she feels and defines her unique style. In 2023 she also start experimenting NFT technology to spread her art in web3.
This is a traditional painting, oil and charchoal on canvas panel board, then digitised. Depicts a woman's back, a metaphor for a firm and static existence, motionless and buried in a physical and mental place, motionless in her thoughts, motionless in her posture, bending over herself, waiting, perched static still in a forever lasting thought. Painted in 2020, that's how I felt, today I came out of that monolith, the fixed thought has transformed assuming a new value. It always remains dear in my heart by looking back on it in the past.
