After practicing ballet at a high level for a decade, I focused on academia and earned a PhD in biology. Initially, I pursued art independently. Almost two years ago, I embarked on a journey into the world of NFTs. My first projects were watercolor paintings characterized by freedom and creative expression for my 'Waterglyphs' series and inspired by generative art for 'Intersection'. In early November 2023 after months of self-learning creative coding, I released my first generative project on Fxhash, 'Luz' (https://www.fxhash.xyz/generative/slug/luz). This on-chain project is inspired by the 'Op art' artistic movement. The artwork presented in the exhibition is a 1/1 that has been artist-curated from the project.
Inspired by the Op Art movement, especially by the works of artists like Carlos Cruz-Diez, Yaacov Agam, Bridget Riley, and their use of color and geometry, I engaged in experimenting with stripes and grid structures. Randomly generated palettes allow each piece to feature unique and unexpected color combinations. The interplay of alternating stripes and multiple layers with varying opacity, produces colorful blends and mesmerizing gradients. This artwork is artist-curated using the Fxhash generator of my project 'Luz’ (https://www.fxhash.xyz/generative/slug/luz). It was specifically generated for the book launch ‘Decentralization, Please Save Culture’ by New Society, scheduled to take place on the 23rd of November 2023 at the NFT Factory in Paris.
