Erma Fiend's GIF art depicts the fluidity of embodiment, nonlinear time, and the ambiguous states that exist between past / present selves and the external world. Fiend is known for documenting his gender transition over the years in hundreds of Escheresque stop motion self portrait loops, which play like Möbius strips in GIF form. He has created commissions for platforms such as Adult Swim, Vice TV, Vans, Meow Wolf, and Trolli. In addition to animation, Fiend performs live as his drag alter ego Sweaty Eddie. NYC's infamous little man with long arms is a founding member of Drag King collective The Cake Boys (@the_cakeboys). "Corporate Pride" features one of Fiend's fellow founding Cake Boy member, Richard @callmedickk.

Commissioned by Adult Swim in 2022, this loop features Richard, an NYC Drag King, morphing into his business attire. Captioned "Corporations on July 1st", this piece is a nod to the superficial platitudes of LGBT acknowledgement during Pride.
