"I'm a software engineer by profession but my true passion lies in photography. It all started when I went through a divorce and decided to make time for the things I love. I began hiking in nature and was constantly overwhelmed by the beauty and emotions of the places I visited. I started taking photos with my phone, but quickly realized that it just wasn't enough to capture the true essence of my experiences. I knew I had to find a way to improve, so I bought myself a camera. It took me a while to find my direction, but I was determined to be different, to be unique. I pushed myself to the limits, literally paying no attention to any obstacles that came my way. I've taken photos in a minefield, climbed steep rocks in the rain and the dark, and even caught a case of pneumonia after taking pictures of a thunderstorm. But through it all, I realized that photography is not just a hobby for me, it's my passion. It's been five years since I bought my camera and I've come a long way since then. I've been featured in a local magazine and TV, won a local competition, and even been nominated for some international awards. But for me, it feels like it's only the beginning. I'm a bit of a crazy photographer (or maybe not a bit, who knows) and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me next. I dream to become a full-time landscape photographer and catch the beauty of every hidden place in our world."

"In the picturesque landscape of Špičnik, Slovenia, nestled deep within lush vineyards, there's an unexpected treasure – a road uniquely shaped like a heart. This isn't just a quick snapshot of that road. Instead, it's a carefully crafted tapestry, made by combining 55 separate photos, each capturing a distinct moment in time, presenting a complete journey from dusk till dawn. Some of these photos showcase the serene moments of the evening, when the vineyards are painted with warm shades of orange ad gold, signifying the sun bidding adieu. As the evening transitions to night, other images reveal a stark contrast, capturing the inky darkness where the only light comes from the cars zooming by, their lights leaving behind long, gleaming streaks. The stars too play their part, swirling together to create enchanting trails, like nature's own fireworks. As night slowly cedes its throne, the first whispers of morning are captured. This is a time when the landscape becomes a realm of fantasy. Everything is bathed in a gentle blue, and here's where the magic intensifies: a soft, enveloping fog rises, shrouding the surroundings in a dreamlike mist, adding an ethereal beauty to the heart-shaped road. Fun fact: The road's heart shape was not intentional. The locals had simply wanted to eliminate a steep slope by adding an extra curve to the road, resulting in its unique shape. Story behind: I hadn't initially planned for such an extended shoot. I had arrived primarily to scout the location. However, I ended up staying longer than intended because my hotel reservation was canceled, leaving me without a place to rest for the night. This unexpected turn of events turned out to be a stroke of luck. This particular photo earned me the title of ""Photo of the Year"" in a local competition in Israel. It was also nominated for the ""Night Photography"" category at the Fine Art Photo Awards, won in the ""Landscape - Night"" category at the ""35 Award"" competition, won in the ""Landscape Time-Lapse"" category at the ""EPA awards"", and has been exhibited in several countries.
