Curator Statement by José Ramos

Lost and unforgettable landscapes, indomitable humbling creatures and the confessions, strengths and fragilities of the human soul. These are some of the most revealing elements of Life, intertwined and bonded by fate, containing lessons of awe, transcendence, loss and reflection.
Living daily inside the interface of two worlds, the one of mental health work and the one of artistic creation, it was unavoidable as a curator to be drawn to the images that symbolise the things that tend to matter the most, the things that stay with us till our last whisper…
Trying to represent life and the search for a meaning, this selection seeks to embrace diversity and mirror a voyage lived through the wisdom of special souls, who turned the moments that will stay with them till their last whisper, into images we now have the privilege of witnessing…  
When we let “art be”, photography unveils its infinite power as a bridge for transformation.

# Bared Intimacy: Oscillations of Mystery & Revelation

In this curation, each artwork is a delicate dance between unveiled intimacy and preserved secrets. In these photographs, nudity isn't just an exposition of the skin, but an invitation to delve into the soul. Whether through subtly hidden elements or enigmatic postures, a profound sense of mystery permeates each photography. Oscillating between mystery and revelation, these pieces convey powerful and deep messages about the human condition, freedom, self-acceptance, and beauty in its purest form. The theme underscores this fascinating tension between what is shown and what remains concealed, offering a reflection on human vulnerability and the bravery it takes to share it with the world.
